Parkside Eagles Nest Hotel has a superb location on a foothill of the Himalayas, overlooking the residence and temple of HH The Dalai Lama, in the small town of Mcleodganj. Set in 2 square Km of natural forest and gardens, this is a truly ideal place for relaxing, for trekking up into the mountains, or for attending the teachings by the Dalai Lama, Karmapa or other Tibetan lamas in exile from Tibet.

The decor of the hotel is a reflection of the surrounding influences, including Mughal, Tibetan and local Himachali. Each suite is decorated differently. Dining is in the Hall or alfresco on the terrace or in the garden.

Directions Upon arrival in Gallu, nearest car point from Mcleodganj, a guide and porters will meet you for the 10 minute walk to the hotel. Major train station is located 98Km Eg: Overnight 1st A/C train from Delhi to Pathankot,+ 2 1/2 hrs drive. We arrange a full pick up service with our personal taxis from any of these airports or train station. We can also arrange any internal travel requirements: flights/trains/bus/taxis. SIGHTSEEING & TREKKING: Trips are arranged to Mcleodganj for visits to the Dalai Lamas temple, for shopping and eating at the many local restaurants. Day treks are arranged with picnics and guides. Other day trips with car + driver are arranged, for example: to the Hot Springs for bathing, to Norbulinka, Tibetan cultural centre, or ancient Hindu temples.
